For the first time Mahesh Babu-Vamshi Paidipally combination is making film ‘Maharshi’. Mahesh’s first look in this movie is being appreciated by all. There is talk in social media that in this film Mahesh Babu while studying MBA has a friend Ravi (Allari Naresh). Later Mahesh Babu goes abroad but subsequently when he learns about the condition in which his friend is living, he returns to India. This film is said to be based on Mahesh’s help to his friend and his support to the farmers.

It was already revealed that Mahesh Babu’s name in this film is Rishi. However, he is said to be acting as Maharshi and Rishi. According to the latest talk doing round in social media and the Film Nagar about film ‘Maharshi’, Mahesh is known as Rishi outside India and when he helps his friend in India he becomes Maharshi. Though Mahesh Babu is not playing double role, his character will have two variations as Rishi and Maharshi. Puja Hegde is acting as heroine in this movie.
