Home insurance rate ruling favors Allstate Houston Chronicle
Allstate Texas Lloyds can continue charging its customers higher rates despite a challenge from state regulators, an Austin state district judge has decided. The Texas Department of Insurance hasn't said whether it will appeal. But it does intend to pursue refunds in a separate action for the company's home insurance policyholders, the agency said.
