'The Super Max™ 8720 AST equipment includes our latest technological advance,' said Matthew Baratta, Daimer.com spokesman. 'AST® shuts off a machine's pumps and motors automatically so workers using long hoses don't have to keep returning to the base unit to take a break.' AST® Increases Life-Span of Machines Since AST® shuts off pressure washing components after half of minute of idleness; the technology also preserves the life the system. Machines without this feature remain on until the user shuts them off which increases wear on motors and pumps. To restart the machine, the power washer operator simply pulls the trigger and the motor and pump go back on. Super Max™ 8720 AST industrial pressure washers offer higher performance than the existing 8700-class unheated machines. The 8720 produces pressures as high as 2000 psi, flow rates as high as 4 GPM and includes a 5.0 HP electric motor. The existing 8700 AST offers 1500 psi of pressure and 3 GPM of water flow. The 8720 AST is not heated, but can accept heated water for hot water cleaning. The pressure washing machines are configured for 230V 60 Hz, but can be purchased with 440V and 50 Hz power options. These power washers offer direct drive pumps and chemical infusion using low pressure injection.
