Titan Poker’s ECOOP European Championship of Online Poker

October 12, 2009 �' This November, the European Championship of Online Poker returns with a guaranteed $4,550,000 in prize money being awarded to players. Poker players from all over Europe will be happy to hear that that ECOOP is returning with record breaking prize money to be awarded this time around. Some of the top poker players in the world will unite to participate in this two week long tournament, with large payouts to be made each and every day. Titan Poker, which puts on this event, paid out $2.5 million during the last European Championship of online poker in late 2007 and the company is set to outdo itself this time around. Players will have their choice of games to participate in, which will give every player who joins the opportunity to win some significant money. Qualifying has already begun for this tournament, but there are still plenty of events that players can get involved with. This is one of the richest online tournaments in history and by all accounts, spaces are filling up rather rapidly because of the prize money and the high level of poker to be played. The tournament begins on November 23, with a no limit hold’em tournament. This particular tournament will have a payout of $250,000 and will kick off the entire championship with a bang. Titan Poker is also very excited about its $500,000 tournaments on both November 29 and 30, in addition to the grand finale, which is a $1.5 million tournament on December 6. ECOOP is an event that looks as though it will change the landscape of online poker events, as the prize money that is available is very significant for such a compact tournament. The $4,550,000 is guaranteed to be paid out over the course of the two week tournament, although tournament organizers have stated that there is a chance that more money will be made available if necessary.
